“Up the Flute” – A bubbly tale of Irish mischief and fine fizz

Born out of an idea while strolling through a Belgium Christmas market, followed by a visit to the rolling hills of Ireland, Up the Flute is what happens when Irish wit meets sparkling sophistication. You see, in Ireland, there are a number of terms relating to someone having had a drink or two such as “Fluthered” or “Scuttered”. So saying someone’s “up the flute” can mean all sorts of mischief — depending on who’s saying it and how many glasses they’ve had!!

We thought: what better name for a champagne and Prosecco house that doesn’t take itself too seriously, but takes bubbles very seriously?

Our mission? To add a bit of craic to every cork pop. Whether you’re toasting in tuxedos, celebrating a special occasion or just dancing on the kitchen table in your slippers, Up the Flute brings joy, sparkle, and a cheeky wink to any celebration.

Why? Because life’s too short for flat drinks and boring branding.
